Pandiya Naadu, also known as Pandi Naadu, is a geographical
territory that encompasses the present-day state of Tamil Nadu. The Venad/Ay
Nadu borders the region on the west, the Chola Naadu on the northeast, and the
Kongu Naadu on the northwest. Madurai, Theni, Sivaganga, Ramanathapuram,
Virudhunagar, Tirunelveli, Tenkasi, Thoothukudi, Kanniyakumari, and parts of
Pudukkottai and Dindigul make up the present-day districts of Madurai, Theni,
Sivaganga, Ramanathapuram, Virudhunagar, Tirunelveli, and Tenkasi.
