AN
INTRODUCTION
What is Star? A star is nothing but a
stable, unmovable and fixed element in the galaxy. There are innumerable stars
in the galaxy. We can’t see most of them even using any powerful telescopes and
satellites.
In astrology, birth stars-also referred to as natal or ruling
stars-have important roles. They stand for the main celestial bodies that have
an impact on a person's personality and course in life. Astrologers can offer
insights and direction for self-awareness and personal development by analysing
the traits and energies connected to the birth stars.
Astrologers think they can access the cosmic energy that these
celestial bodies emit by examining the positions of the stars at the moment of
a person's birth. It is believed that this energy shapes a person's life path,
talents, limitations, and personality qualities.
According to astrologers, knowing the impact of one's birth
stars can help people better understand who they are and what their purpose in
life is. People may make wise judgements and deal with life's obstacles more
clearly and self-awarely if they are aware of their strengths and shortcomings.
Each star possesses its own unique
energy, which astrologers associate with specific qualities and
characteristics. For
instance, a star recognized for its intense energy might be connected to
desires, drive, and confidence. Conversely, a star exhibiting a tranquil and
peaceful energy could relate to tranquillity, balance, and empathy.
Every birth star is linked to particular traits and attributes.
For instance, a person born under the influence of the star Makham Nakshatra-Regulus, also referred to as the "Heart of the Lion," might be a powerful leader with a remarkable sense of self-expression. On the other hand, the "Falling Eagle," a person born under the influence of the star Vega, can be linked to artistic ability and a need for independence. It is crucial to keep in mind that astrology is not intended to
foretell certain occurrences or determine a person's fate. Rather, it provides
a structure for introspection and personal development. People are encouraged
by astrology to discover their own potential and make decisions that are
consistent with who they really are.
Now come to the point – VEDIC STARS. We have knowledge of more or less 300
stars only. Our Vedic astrologers grouped these stars into 27 groups. They name
them according to their shapes. These 27 stars are classified in different
categories. From Aswini to Revati is the star row in the sky.
Aswini nakshatra is the first one.
Next is Bharani nakshatra, followed by Aswini. Aswini nakshatra is located east
of the Bharani nakshatra, next in the same row till Revati nakshatra. These 27
nakshatra groups formed from the east direction (from the Earth’s point of
view) are called the Zodiac or Nakshatra Mandala.
