The Moolavar is
facing east in a standing position. The Moolavar stands about 10 feet tall (3.0
m). Patharaavi, the Utsavar (procession god), is made of panchaloha and is
accompanied by two consorts, as is the case in most Vaishnavite temples.

Thiruevvul temple

The temple is
surrounded by a granite wall and includes a seven-tiered rajagopuram (gateway
tower). The complex houses all of the shrines, and the temple tank,
Hritayathabhanasini, is located to the west of the temple. The Vijayakoti
Vimanam (pyramidal roof over the shrine) is a sign of victory over the
Madhukaidapas asuras, who were killed by Sri Vishnu.
Sri Kanakavalli
(also known as Sri Vasumati) is the
Thaayaar, and her shrine is positioned parallel to the sanctuary. In the first
precinct, shrines to Azhwars, Sri Ranganatha,
and Sri Hanuman surround
the sanctum.
Every Friday, the
festival picture of the presiding deities is shown in an exquisite
four-pillared black stone hall known as Vellikizhamai mandapam.1000 – 2000
years old temple.
Specialities
The presiding god Sri Veeraraghava Perumal is known as “Sri Vaithiya Veeraraghavan" since he is said to cure the
diseases of his followers. Another tradition claims that after worshipping Sri Vishnu in the area, Lord Shiva was cured of his Brahmahathi
Dosha. In the temple grounds, there is a little Shiva shrine.
Hritayathabhanasini, the temple tank, is located to the west of the temple and
is said to have medicinal properties.

Temple
The five-tired
Rajagopuram, which faces east. According to Mahabharatha, during the fight with
the Kauravas, Sri Vishnu, in his form as Sri Krishna, served as a charioteer
for Arjuna, the Pandava prince.
During the battle,
Sri Krishna did not take any weapons. Sri Krishna was injured by Bhishma's
arrow during the combat between Arjuna and Bhishma. The legend is said to be
followed by the mark in the temple image.
The site is called
Allikeni, which means "Lily pond," because it is said that the area
was once covered in lily ponds. The governing deity is the only one in the
world who wears a moustache. According to another tradition, the area was
formerly home to a Tulsi forest. 1000 – 2000 yearses old temple.

The temple is
surrounded by a granite wall that extends uphills, encompassing all of its
shrines. The temple has a five-tiered rajagopuram at the summit of the hill,
and the temple tank lies outside the main entrance in the foothills, opposite
the temple. The temple is dedicated to the Thenkalai religion.
The temple has
twin hills, with the Periya malai (great hill) of Sri Yoga Narasimha standing
750 feet (230 metres) tall and covering 1.25 acres (5,100 m2). The top of the
hill is reached through a 1,305-step staircase. The rajagopuram, a five-tiered
gateway tower, is 200 feet (61 metres) by 150 feet (46 metres) at the summit of
the temple. Sri Narasimha is known as Sri Yoga Narasimha Swamy because he sits
in a Yogic pose in a temple facing East.
His consort Sri
Amrithavalli Thayaar has a separate shrine. Sri Hanuman (Anjaneya) temple of
Sri Yoga Anjenayar Swamy is located on the second hill, Chinna malai (little
hill), which is 350 feet (110 metres) tall.
Chathurpujam (four
hands) is used in Sri Yoga Anjenayar, with a conch and chakaram in the upper
hands and a Jeba malai and Jeba Shankaram in the other two. 1000 – 2000 years
